Where You Can Get School Supplies For Free In Tampa Bay. We know mom and dad, prices are crazy. Gas, food, rent or mortgage, air conditioning, and now add School Supplies! Tax Free Holiday is under way of course, but we have several area companies and non-profits pitching in around the bay to help with big events offering free school supplies. Source TBT

• St. Petersburg

  There is a back to school fair put on by the Junior League in St Pete Saturday from 8am till 12noon. They have Physical and Medical screenings for the kids and back[packs jammed with school supplies. Location: Evara Health 1344 22nd St. S, St. Petersburg.

   

• Tropicana Field

  Up to 2,000 backpacks stuffed with school supplies available Saturday, August 6th from 12noon till 5pm. This is from Live Love St. Pete & Saturday Morning Shoppe. Info at  livelovestpete.org and satmorningshoppe.com

• Tampa

  Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade can grab a full supply backpack, get a physical, and meal for free Friday at the Back To School Bash. 11am-2pm. 7454 Palm River Road, Tampa. 813-628-9179.

• Backpacks At Raymond James

  The Bullard Family Foundation putting on their 5th Annual Back to School Bash starting 9am Saturday August 6th. This is presented by AdventHealth and Skanska. Easy to find at Raymond James Stadium, 4201 N Dale Mabry Highway.  Free backpacks loaded with school supplies and free medical, dental, and vision services too but you need to sign up at bit.ly/bffmedical.
