Just before Sam Hunt was to hit the stage on Sunday night (3/13) to close out the 2022 Florida Strawberry Festival, Tom Brady took to Twitter to announce he was coming out of his five-week retirement to come back and play for the Bucs.
Many in the crowd hadn’t heard the news yet when Sam Hunt announced the news about halfway through his set. Needless to say, the sold-out crowd went crazy and started changing “Tampa…Bay”.
Many sportscasters were wondering where Gronk was as all of this news was breaking and what his thoughts were on it. Well, we know where he was.
As the show came to a close, Sam went to his number one song, “Body Like A Backroad.” Then all of a sudden Sam Hunt had a backup dancer. It was none other than Tampa Bay tight end, Rob Gronkowski!
There has been much speculation on whether or not Rob Gronkowski would return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for another season with Brady retiring. Gronk never made an official announcement. Here is hoping with Brady officially coming back to the Bucs, Gronk will take his moves from the stage to the field once again!
