Tampa Bay’s Hometown Morning Krewe

It’s crazy to think that most schools will be out in a few weeks. Then what do you do with your kids all summer?  It’s a good idea to start planning now.   Here are 5 favorite summer camps for kids in Tampa.

A summer program provides a safe environment for children to develop social skills, decision-making skills, and experience the great outdoors.  Socialization during childhood is good for growth and development.

Lots of parents send their kids to camps to keep them active and busy and off the iPad’s and phones.

Most communities have their own summer camps to help out busy parents, but we complied a list of our favorites.   We also dig some digging and found so many opportunities.  There are so many different types of events that you can get involved in Tampa.  Programs for your children during off school months can help out working parents and also keep kids engaged through out the summer.  It’s a good idea to keep kids active and moving so that returning to the school year isn’t so hard on them.  Plus it is a great opportunity to expose them to new ideas and activities.  Keeping them active helps as they return to the start of the school year.

If your child loves sports, the outdoors, crafts or cooking, there are many programs and summer camps you can get your kids involved in.

Most parents have already planned, but for those of you who haven’t,  check out this list of 5 favorite summer camps in Tampa.  There are more summer camps you can check out HERE.
