The sweet and smokey aromas of BBQ was filling Julian B. Lane Park in Downtown Tampa on Sunday, November 3 for the 13th annual Tampa Pig Jig. It was a gorgeous day filled with sunshine, BBQ, beer, and of course, some awesome performances by Chase Rice, Dierks Bentley, and more! This highly anticipated Tampa annual fundraiser started out in 2011 and was proudly back for its 13th year. After being rescheduled because of Hurricane Helene, I think we all needed a day to relax and enjoy some tunes and world class BBQ. This year the premier philanthropic community event welcomed some of Country Music’s biggest stars. Chace Rice hit the stage before headliner Dierks Bentley closed down the show.
The Tampa Pig Jig is an annual fundraising event for NephCure Kidney International. The only nonprofit organization committed to funding research, improving treatment and finding a cure for the debilitating kidney disease: Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and Nephrotic Syndrome.
