Tampa Bay’s Hometown Morning Krewe

We have complied our favorite photos of Sam Hunt in Tampa.   Sam Hunt performed last night and the crowd loved him.  Sam is a ladies man and all eyes were on him as his fans sang the lyrics to all of his songs throughout the night. Check out our photos from the show courtesy of J.Glorioso for 99.5 QYK.

The tailgating was packed early.  Fans were excited about not only seeing Sam Hunt, but openers Brett Young and Lily Rose.  Brett Young also has a fan base of the ladies as the majority of his songs are love/break up songs.

Brett Young Wows Fans

Fans loved that Brett kicked off his set with his new single, Not Yet. He looked great on stage and had all the ladies in the palm of his hand.   The crowd was singing along to all of his big songs like, “Like I Loved You”, ” You Ain’t Here To Kiss Me”, “Lady”, “Mercy” and “Catch”. He gave lots of love to his Tampa fans and got them ready for headliner Sam Hunt.

Sam Hunt Hits The Stage

The crowd was singing along to Sam as he started his show with “Raised on It”, which is a song that never was released as a single, but should have been since his fans know every word to that song. Sam danced and sang his way across the stage singing his big songs. His first number one song “Take Your Time”,  “House Party”, “Take Your Time”, “Hard To Forget” and more. You can check out the full setlist here. Both of Sam’s albums, Montevallo and Southside went to number one on the charts. Sam jumped got the party started with just the second song of the set. He hopped off the stage and made his way through the Amp high-fiving fans. It was a great start to the night!

Prior to pursuing a career in music, Sam Hunt played college football at Middle Tennessee State University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  He decided to move to Nashville to pursue his musical career writing about his past relationships.   One of the reasons behind Sam Hunt’s relatable music is his ability to draw inspiration from his own experiences. He often infuses personal stories in his songs, making them resonate with listeners on a deeper level.  Montevello is about his relationship with Hannah Lee, his now wife.
