Fun Facts About Chayce Beckham
The first of the three fun facts about Chayce Beckham is that we were first introduced to Chayce Beckham on American Idol. He was a contestant on Season 19 and ended up winning it that season. Two weeks before he auditioned for Idol he was involved in a near-fatal car wreck. The accident ended up inspiring him to write the song “23”.
The second fun fact is that he worked as a heavy machinery operator. He also started a reggae band called the Sinking Sailors when he was 19.
The third and final fun fact is that Chayce has been on Luke Bryan’s Mind Of a Country Boy tour. Luke is a judge on American Idol and ended up taking Chayce on tour with him.
Launa’s Memory Of Meeting Chayce For The First Time
I got a chance to meet Chayce a few years ago in Nashville for a Radio Seminar. During the week they introduce us to a bunch of new up and coming artists that week, and Chayce was the guy that stood out. I didn’t even know he was on Idol when I met him. The songs he sang for us, the confidence he had and the way he held his head high was very impressive when I met him. You can tell who is going to make it in this business and who isn’t, and I knew right away that Beckham had that special “it” factor. So, here we are two years later and celebrating his first number one.
