5 Places To Pregame Before The 99.5 QYK Guitar Pull
It’s almost here! The 99.5 QYK 2024 Guitar Pull is happening on Sunday, November 17 at the Mahaffey Theater in Downtown St. Pete. We have an awesome lineup this year featuring: Chris Janson, Matt Stell, LOCASH, Corey Kent, and Chayce Beckham. The concert is expected to start at 7pm, but here are a few tips and suggestions for where to get ready before the show!
If this is your first time learning about Guitar Pull, you might be wondering how this is different than your average concert. At most concerts, you might get lucky to hear the artist slow it down and pull out the acoustic to play a few songs. This event is everything but average. With every artist sitting side by side with only a story and a guitar, these performances are unlike anything you’ll be able to see ever again. Listen to the artists swap stories behind the songs and take a look inside of how some of your favorite songs were written.

We want you to have the best night ever. So we rounded up 5 options for you to get the party started before heading over to the Mahaffey Theater. Here are our 5 favorite pregame spots in Downtown St. Pete.
Renzo’s
If you’re looking to turn Guitar Pull into a full on date night, Renzo’s will be a great spot to grab a bite to eat. The St. Pete steakhouse is less than a half a mile away from the Mahaffey, which is only about a 10 minute walk
Social Roost
Voted peoples choice for best restaurant in St. Pete in 2023, Social Roost is another great option for a Guitar Pull pregame since they are just a short 10 minute walk to the Mahaffey Theater! Their menu has Sunday supper exclusives like low-country boil with shrimp, mussels, smoked andouille, new potatoes, & corn, drenched in a garlicy old-bay butter sauce.
The Galley
The Galley is such a hidden gem in Downtown St. Pete. They’ll have specials all Sunday like $20 beer buckets. This is a little bit further of a walk to the Mahaffey, about 15 minutes. But it is a short 4 minute drive if you’re running short on time.
Oak & Stone
From light fare to unique gourmet twists on tavern favorites, there are plenty of options for dining at Oak & Stone. Or you can get the party started with a bourbon flight. Oak & Stone is only a .5 mile walk to the Mahaffey Theater.
Pre-Party at the Mahaffey Theater
Whether you finish up early at any of our suggested places, or want to get the party started as early as possible, come hang with the QYK crew at the Mahaffey Theater for our pre-party. There will be food by Sonata, live music, photo-ops, and so much more. Festivities kick off at 5pm!
