Post Malone: ‘I Have Had The Time of My Life’ Making Country Music
Post Malone scored four CMA nominations this week for “I Had Some Help,” his number-one duet with Morgan Wallen. The song is nominated for CMAs in the Song and Single of the Year categories as well as for Musical Event and Music Video of the Year.
Post has been getting to know and work with lots of country superstars this year in Nashville and his hard work paid off with the success of F-1 Trillion topping the Billboard album charts.
While he did not post a response to the CMA love on his socials this week, he did post a note to fans and friends who helped him with his project.
He wrote on Instagram recently: “Thank you to everyone involved in the making of this project. I am so honored to have worked with some of my favorite artists, writers, and friends… I have had the time of my life making this record, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I’m so excited for the opportunity to make it.”
He added, “Everyone keep expressing yourself, having fun, loving what you do, and loving each other. I love you more than I can say. Have a great night mofo’s, and I’ll see you soon,”

Malone’s venture into country with his album F-1 Trillion has been quite the success.
In the Billboard 200 album chart dated for August 31, F-1 Trillion debuts at No. 1 with 250,000 album units earned in the first week of release. This is Malone’s third album to top the Billboard 200 album chart following 2018’s Beerbongs & Bentleys and 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding.
F-1 Trillion was certainly helped by its list of guest artists, which is a who’s-who of country’s biggest names, including Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton, Hank Williams Jr., Brad Paisley, HARDY, ERNEST, Sierra Ferrell and Billy Strings.
