Carly Pearce Again Opens Her Closet To Fans For Charity
Carly Pearce is selling off some of the outfits in her closet for the second year in a row at CMA Fest next week. This time, the money will go to an animal charity close to her heart.
Carly posted the news to her Instagram along with a drawing of her closet and her two beloved dogs, Johnny and June. She wrote, “So excited to be bringing Carly’s Closet back for the 2nd year in a row at #CMAFest! It has been so fun looking at all of my wardrobe and finding some good pieces for y’all to choose from. Per Johnny & June’s request, we are excited to announce the @aspca as Carly’s Closet’s charitable partner. See y’all there!”
Many fans reacted to the news, including the charity she is helping. The ASPCA responded to her post, writing, “Woohoo! Thank you for your partnership.” A fan reacted, “Okay, so maybe I’m going to Nashville next week…” One more fan said, “This is such a cool thing you do!!”

Pearce made her 100th performance at the Grand Ole Opry in April. She made her debut in 2015.
The special set from Carly closed out the night at the Opry and featured many surprise special guest performances. Ashley McBryde joined Pearce to perform their GRAMMY Award-winning hit “Never Wanted To Be That Girl,” while fellow Kentucky native Ricky Skaggs performed a rendition of Bill Monroe’s “Blue Moon of Kentucky.”
The Isaacs’ Ben and Sonja Isaacs lent their voices to her “Easy Going” performance while Lady A’s Charles Kelley joined Carly for her second No. 1 “I Hope You’re Happy Now.” The two first performed the song together at the 54th Annual CMA Awards in November 2020 when Lee Brice, who originally sang on the song, was sick and could not perform.
Pearce performed her most recent No. 1 song, “What He Didn’t Do,” solo and was also honored with plaques backstage before her set by executives from Big Machine Label Group, Opry Entertainment, and RIAA commemorating the song’s RIAA platinum certification.
