Actor Chase Stokes Confirms Kelsea Ballerini Relationship
Yesterday (1/17), we reported that Kelsea Ballerini seemed to squash rumors she was dating Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes after they were spotted together at the National Championship Football Game in Los Angeles earlier this month. Now gossip site TMZ is reporting that Chase confirmed the relationship with one of their photographers.
TMZ reports that the actor “confirmed to our photog Tuesday he and the country singer are, in fact, an item … but whether he meant for it to slip out the way it did is another story.” The video clip shows the photographer telling him what a cute couple he and Kelsea make, and he says, “Thank You.” Then she asked what drew him to Ballerini, and he said, “She’s a sweet girl, and we’re having a great time, and that’s all I’ll say.”
The photog then asks if they are Instagram “official,” and he ignores her then she asks if he has gotten a cowboy hat or Wranglers yet from her, and he responds, “I grew up in the south, so all of that is in my life already.”
When the rumors started to hit the internet over the weekend, Kelsea went on TikTok to address the rumor. Ballerini posted a video on TikTok of her with dating rumor headlines behind her. She said, “I know, I know, I know. Stop reading, stop reading. Stop looking. But what is happening, guys? What? Let’s not do this.”
She captioned the video, “I’m about to break up with the internet 5 sure,” with a laughing emoji.

Four days after the game, Chase posted a “Lil recap” of his life on Insta stories, which included a snapshot of him getting close to Kelsea in the stands. Kelsea commented, “Go vols,” on his post, along with a see-no-evil monkey emoji.
Todd Graves, the owner of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, also posted to Instagram about the game and featured images of Kelsea and Chase together. He captioned his post, “Energy still high from an exciting game on Monday night!”
Ballerini announced her divorce from fellow country singer Morgan Evans back in August.
