Our worst 5 beaches, stinky red tide report beach by beach. This is, so far. I did a run-up and down the beaches yesterday. I’ve seen worse. But, really hoping the winds and coming storms do not push the red tide close to more beaches. Yuck!

  • 1. Treasure Island

Boca Ciega all the way through to Sunset Beach and Blind Pass. Varying levels. Some dead floating along Beach, out Blind Pass onto the Gulf. This looks to be the worst of it so far.

  • 2. St. Pete Beach

Out Blind Pass onto the Gulf. Large patches of fish kills 100 yards off the beach. Upham beach terrible. Deep red/brown color all the way to Pass a Grille.

  • 3. Pass A Grille

Bad all the way from beach, across the channel and into Shell Key/Irma Pass.  Floating dead fish.  This looks like it goes all the way to Ft Desoto.

  • 4. Ft. DeSoto

This looks to be the second worst area.  Hate seeing that nasty, ugly Red/brown water.  Dead fish floating.
  • 5. Egmont Key

Varying levels.  Dark patches in water. Dead fish floating. P! U!
