Florida native Ryan Griffin stops by Studio QYK to perform!

We had the pleasure of meeting Ryan Griffin today (4/5/22). His younger days were spent in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and then around middle school, his family relocated to Ocala. Now he is making it big in Nashville these days.

With saltwater in his veins, he left Florida and attended college at Belmont University in Nashville. During his collegiate career, he got an internship working in the mailroom at Broken Bow Records. That is where he met Jason Aldean. He was in the right place at the right time and ultimately ended up touring with Aldean and his band. Later Ryan became Jason’s tour manager. Now, signed to Red Street Records, Ryan Griffin is ready to forge his own path in country music.

You may recognize his song “Salt Lime Tequila” from going viral on Tik Tok. He also co-wrote Kelsea Ballerini’s hit “Dibs”.

Ryan takes us on a musical journey of his days growing up in Florida to heading to Nashville to make it big in country music.
