Blake Shelton Will Miss His Buddy Adam Levine
Blake Shelton, who has been on NBC’s The Voice since day one with his buddy Adam Levine, took to Twitter to share his thoughts about his friend leaving the show.
He posted on Friday (5/24), “Having a hard time wrapping my head around @adamlevine not being at @NBCTheVoice anymore. After 16 seasons that changed both of ours lives. I only found out about this yesterday and it hasn’t set in on me yet. Gonna miss working with that idiot.”

The two became quick friends when the show began and starting jabbing at each other right away. Blake made fun of Adam endlessly when he was on the cover of People Magazine as the Sexiest Man Alive in 2013.
Levine returned the favor when Blake was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2017 even though Shelton sent Adam a giant 10-foot-tall magazine cover of the publication to rub it in.
Shelton’s girlfriend Gwen Stefani will replace Adam on the show.
