First Listen: Sugarland’s “Still The Same”
They’ve teased us with a piece of it for more than a week, but now Sugarland fans can hear all of their new song “Still The Same.” The duo’s first single since 2011 and their first since reuniting, is out now.
“Still The Same” comes as part of a joint venture between Big Machine Label Group, where Jennifer released a solo album in 2016, and UMG/Nashville, their combined label home. “We have each been doing so many fun and wonderful things on our own, but I also feel like from a timing perspective it’s like, ‘Okay, let’s get back together and see what we have to offer to this project now,'” Jennifer recently told People. “We’ll continue to float in and out of those two realms.”

Sugarland has sold nearly 10 million albums since the band’s 2002 inception with the help of hits like “All I Want to Do,” Stay,” “Baby Girl,” “It Happens,” “Settlin’,” “Want To” and “Something More.” The duo will perform on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2018 on ABC.
