Gordon Ramsay Is Trying To Reinvent Airport Food
Airport food has not been a flying favorite for years, but famous chef Gordon Ramsay is looking to work with airlines to change their meals.
According to Eater, Ramsay opened his own restaurant called Plane Food at London’s Heathrow airport and is looking to expand his food establishments throughout the world.
According to Refinery 29, Plane Food’s menu has burrata salads, salt-and-pepper squid, and short rib beef burger. All airport locations also have a grab and go feature, which is perfect for those who are running late to their gate.

There are no reports on which airports will open his restaurant or when customers should expect to see the addition. In some reports, it looks as though his new restaurant additions may only focus on takeaway foods. Those who are looking to have a more formal dining experience may have to travel to London’s airport.

Ramsay said in a statement, “Plane Food To Go is a truly revolutionary concept that will roll out worldwide and build upon the massive success of the original Plane Food dining experience from Heathrow T5. As someone who is in a different airport terminal every week, I know first hand how much Plane Food To Go will enhance every on-the-go traveler’s dining experience.”
Those who love the chef will have to keep their eyes peeled for when these tasty creations are available.
