Luke Bryan: His Best New Year’s Eve
Luke Bryan has a lot of reasons to love New Year’s Eve. One reason is because of his wife Caroline’s birthday, which falls on New Year’s Eve. Another reason is it was on New Year’s Eve when he and her really started connecting after they started dating not long before Christmas of that same year.
Luke told us in a recent interview, “My best New Year’s Eve is definitely when my wife and I started back dating. We started back dating right before Christmas, and we went on a trip down to Florida and met some friends.”
He added, “Her birthday is New Year’s Eve. We celebrated it that night, and it was just a great night.”
Luke and Caroline got married on December 8, 2006, in the Turks and Caicos Islands. They then headed to the Colorado mountains for their honeymoon.
They recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary and his wife posted a photo of the two wearing Caroline and Luke t-shirts on her Instagram. She captioned the post, “And we stillllll together!!” Happy 18th anniversary. Love you to the moon and back! @lukebryan #inlivingcolor #mrandmrsbrooks.”

Bryan recently got pretty candid about his star power in a recent interview and where he is today, as opposed to where he was when his career “peaked” a few years ago.
He said, “Every artist hits their peak. I was selling out football stadiums on the first day, [the] three or four years I did it. I know that’s my peak, probably.”
Luke added candidly, “I’m not even gonna say ‘probably.’ I know it is,”
Bryan‘s new album came out in September, and he told us recently that the album is a little more mature with the subject matter than his past albums.
He told us, “I remember being 35, 36 years old at spring break with my spring break albums going, ‘I am 35. It’s probably time to hang this thing up.’ But I’ve always kind of leaned toward youthful fun, you know, just fun party music. I think I’ve kind of been put in that category, which I love and I’ve enjoyed. And when people come to my show, I think they come to have a great time.”
