Tim McGraw: What Food He Avoids on Thanksgiving
When it comes to Thanksgiving foods, everyone usually has their favorite dish that they look forward to seeing on the table every year. And most people also have a least favorite dish that they think is just gross, or that they wouldn’t miss if it never showed up on the Thanksgiving table again. Tim McGraw’s choice for least favorite Thanksgiving food might surprise some people.
Tim told us, “I don’t know if there’s one dish on Thanksgiving that I think’s super disgusting, But you know, I don’t, for some reason, the sweet potato casserole with the marshmallows and stuff is just not one of my favorites. I’ll eat it, but you know, if it doesn’t get made, it won’t bother me.”
The country superstar celebrated a milestone last week in his career with his 49th chart-topper, “One Bad Habit.” He posted to Instagram, “One Bad Habit” became my 49th career #1 this week! This song always makes me think of my wife! Thank you to country radio and all you fans who show up to the shows and tune in and listen. I am so very grateful.”
Many fans reacted to the post, including one who wrote, “Beautiful couple. You both are an inspiration for me.”

In McGraw’s latest song, he sings about being far from perfect, while the woman he loves only has “One Bad Habit.”
The lyrics include, “I’m her wild side / The one crazy thing she does / I hope she never quits me / I hope she never gives me up / I’m a mile away from perfect / I’m the only hell she’s ever gonna raise / The one bad habit I hope she never breaks.”
“One Bad Habit” was written by Aaron Eshuis, Marc Beeson and Tony Lane, but Tim says the song is very representative of his relationship with his wife, Faith Hill, who has taught him so much about life and how to be a better version of himself.
He told us, “Oh my gosh, there’s so many lessons I’ve learned from her. She’s the best person I’ve ever known. I way out punted my coverage, for sure. She’s very good at reminding me that I’m not the only person in the world, sometimes, how you can get lost when you’re driven and trying to get something done and trying to focus on things.”
The country superstar added, “I’m not a multi-tasker like she is, so she’s very good at saying, ‘Hey, you got some other business you need to attend to here.’”
