Jelly Roll’s TV ‘Tulsa King’ Moment
Jelly Roll appears in the new season of Paramount’s Tulsa King. The show stars Sylvester Stallone. Not only does the show use his song “I Am Not Okay” but he also does a little acting on the show.
Jelly shared a clip of his part in the show with Sylvester Stallone. In the clip, the dialogue is this: Stallone’s character says, “What’s the guy’s name again?” some out of camera says, “I’ve told you a million times it’s Jelly Roll… Jelly Roll.” Stallone says, “I never heard of him. What’s the problem? Oh, there is no problem.”
Jelly walks up and Stallone says, “Hey, how are you doing?” Jelly says, “Man, I’m doing great. How are you?” Stallone says, “You’re Jelly Fish, right?” Jelly says, “You’re close: Jelly Roll. “Stallone says, “How are you doing? Jelly Roll, you look really familiar. Were you ever in the joint?” Jelly says, “Actually, I was back in Nashville. Was you in Tennessee?” Stallone says, “No… so what are you doing in Tulsa? “
Jelly replies, “I’m working. I got a gig at the BOK Center tomorrow night.” Stallone asks, “What are you head of? Security?” Jelly says, “No, I’m actually a janitor trying to make a better life huh?” Stallone: “Hey you work hard but you know you got good benefits.” Jelly: “Yeah we also get a lot of cool stuff people leave on the floor after a concert alone I gotta go in there and tidy up right quick.” Stallone: “Are you a singer? You’re not gonna try singing, are you?” Jelly: “I mean, how hard can it really be?” Stallone says before the scene ends, “This guy is a little delusional.”
He wrote on Instagram, “The crossover we didn’t know we needed Stream the all-new #TulsaKing episode now on @paramountplus!”
