Lainey Wilson Will Play ‘Goldilocks’ At The Opry
A few days ago, Lainey Wilson received a brand-new guitar in the mail. She filmed herself opening the new instrument and shared a video clip of the moment on Instagram.
Lainey says in the clip as she brings a package in and opens it, “I got a new guitar, Boy Howdy! Santa Claus comes early. I’m so excited. My wildflowers guitar.” The country superstar opens it up and says, “Stop. Are you kidding me? Dude, this is nice. This is nice.” She points to the flower artwork on the guitar and the neck and says, “They crushed this! Wow, they just pop like gold.”
Her friend asks her where she will play the guitar, and she responds as she strums, “I think we should play it at the Opry first.”
Her buddy asks what she will name her new guitar, and the star says without hesitation, “Goldilocks. Wow, he crushed it.” Lainey starts playing and singing a song on the new six-stringed friend. After the song, she holds up the new guitar and says, “Damn, she sounds good.”
She captioned the Instagram post, “Goldilocks and @postmalone are makin’ their Opry debuts next week on Aug. 14, and I’m just honored to be a part of it y’all! See ya soon @opry!”

Wilson and Miranda Lambert have released their new duet, a song they wrote together called “Good Horses.”
Both country queens grew up with horses and have ridden at competitions. To give a taste of their new song, Lainey and Miranda joined each other in a fancy horse barn with their guitars to sing some of it.
Wilson and Lambert double-posted the clip to their combined seven million followers on their respective Instagram accounts. They captioned the post, “Good horses come home.”
Lainey played in Las Vegas in December at The Theater at the Virgin Hotel. During the performance, Lainey surprised the crowd by bringing out what she called her “Ride or Die”: Miranda Lambert. The two sang Lambert’s big smash, “Kerosene.”
The superstars sang the new, never-before-heard-of duet that they wrote together. Lainey told the crowd, introducing it, “This song is so, so special, and you can hear her all over it. She helped me write the song, and I’m so proud of the song; we hope you love it.”
