Lambert’s “Wranglers” will be the first of new solo music since her 2022 Grammy, ACM, and CMA-nominated album, Palomino. It will also be the first single released from her forthcoming album which she says “is a tale of a woman taking her power back.”
Lambert posted the following caption to an Instagram post today (4/23):
“I’m thrilled to let y’all know that I signed a record deal with @republicrecords in partnership with @bigloud. From my beginning conversations with Monte Lipman, I could tell they appreciate music, they appreciate art, and they’d give me the freedom to create and stay true to myself.”
She continued, “Both the teams at Republic & Big Loud are bringing such energy. Having a new home has given me a hunger I didn’t realize I still had inside me. Fired up to enter this next chapter.”
In March of 2023, Lambert announced that she was leaving Sony Music after 20 years and expressed to her fans that she was looking for her “next challenge.” During that time she released some of the biggest country hits to date including “Mama’s Broken Heart,” “Gunpowder & Lead,” “Vice,” and more.
“Miranda Lambert’s legacy as both a consummate storyteller and legendary performer speaks for itself. Her new music is spectacular and we are thrilled and honored to welcome her to Republic Records in partnership with Big Loud,” says Republic Founder and Chairman, Monte Lipman, in a press statement.
Lambert recently wrapped up her 48-show ‘Velvet Rodeo’ residency in Las Vegas and will appear at Stagecoach this Sunday (4/27) in Indio, California. Scroll below to see a full list of her upcoming tour dates and festival appearances.
