The couple posted the first clip of the new duet on Stefani’s Insta Stories. The song lyrics, which you can see the couple singing in a recording studio on both their Insta Stories, are in part:
“When someone comes along and tries to love you as I love you, I don’t know what I’d do. / Don’t want to lose you / If someone comes along and tries to take you just to make you / Don’t let ’em change your mind.”
Blake and Gwen scored two number-one country songs with duets, including “Happy Anywhere” and “Nobody But You” in 2020.
Stefani recently spent some time gardening. She posted a video clip of her garden work to her Instagram.
Gwen said while wearing a blue sweatshirt and getting help from one of her sons, “Hi. I’m about ready to do a little gardening.” She points close to where her son stands, “I’ve got my roses that I got over there. I am going to do some Peonies.” She holds up the flowers, “These are very incredible, and I’ve never done ’em. And they take ten years to mature so that I will see you in ten years.”
The video then shows her clipping flowers and having dozens of flower roots laid out on the family’s kitchen table.
She captioned the Instagram post, “2024 is blooming already :).”
