You Can Adopt Your Next Pet For Just $25 This Christmas
The Christmas season is all about giving and spending time with the ones we care about. From family parties to fundraisers and toy drives, there’s always some way you can get involved around the holidays. Friends of Strays is reducing their adoption fees so you can find the perfect pet for your home.
From now until December 23rd, Friends of Strays is hosting their Home for the Holidays Adoption special. All adoption fees are reduced. Cats and kittens are just $25 and dogs and puppies are $100. Friends of Strays has tons of different animals to choose from. They have all different colors, shapes, sizes and breeds.
If you have been thinking about adopting, Friends of Strays Shelter is open any day of the week from 10 AM to 6 PM. Whether it’s your first time owning a pet or you’ve had many, you can stop in and play with the animals to see which one is right for you.
What comes with an adoption from Friends of Strays in St. Petersburg, FL?
All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. You’ll also get a sample bag of food to take home. The microchip is registered to the adopter of the pet at the time of adoption.
A few animals that are up for adoption at Friends of Strays:
- Laura Dean: She is an 8 year old hound mix (Pictured above) and has been waiting to find the right home for over 2 months. Jessica Salmond from Friends of Strays says, “She is an affectionate and vocal hound gal who lives to follow her nose, so she’d thrive in a home with a large yard to explore, and she wouldn’t mind a canine friend, too!
- Lindsey: She is a 1 year old cat that is always looking for fun. She likes to play and get rowdy, but also enjoys relaxing for downtime.
- Smitten: Smitten is a 6 month old kitten that loves to be with humans. He has FeLV+ (Feline leukemia virus) which means he can live with other FeLV+ cats or would be to be the only kitten in your residence.
