Orlando Theme Park Allows You To Drive Tanks And Smash Cars
Here’s an Orlando theme park that you don’t hear about every day. We know all about Disney, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. But have you heard of Tank America? It’s in Orlando which makes it the perfect day trip from Tampa. At Tank America they let you drive tanks and smash cars. Weirdly enough this has been something that is on my bucket list. And yes it is actual tanks that you drive and run over stuff.
Tank America is an Orlando theme park that’s super close to Universal Studios! According to one of their partners John Kinney, “If you’re looking for a thrilling experience outside of the theme parks, it doesn’t get more thrilling than Tank America.”
Tank America is the only theme park in Florida that allows you to drive a REAL military tank. But it doesn’t come at a cheap price and experiences last about an hour and a half. The cheapest experience they offer is their “Basic Tank Training” which costs $300. This experience allows you to drive the FV433 Abbot Tank. If you want to go all out and crush cars, that will cost you about $1,000. The car experience alone is about $700, plus you get to drive through mud holes and bring a passenger. The top tier package allows you to do all of those things plus a scrap car obstacle and allows you to shoot 5 machine guns.
No doubt Tank America would be a great experience for adrenaline junkies and military enthusiasts. It could also make a great gift for someone! Would you pay for a once in a lifetime experience like this?
