Clearwater Police Help Dogs After Owner Goes To The Hospital
Just another day on the job for these officers. Clearwater Police help a pair of dogs after their owner had to go to the hospital.
Clearwater officers responded to a medical call downtown. The person who was having the incident owned two adorable chihuahuas. The pups couldn’t go to the hospital with their owner so the officers arranged to have the two dogs looked after by Pinellas County animal control until their owner is released from the hospital. While the officers were waiting for animal control, they took a few pictures with the pups.
Police work can be “ruff” sometimes. Our officers responded to a medical call downtown this morning where the person had two dogs. The pooches couldn’t go to the hospital, so the county’s animal control will watch over them until the owner is released. pic.twitter.com/2UMQvIwCUA

We’re hoping the dog’s owner has a speedy recovery and is reunited with their fur babies. [SOURCE News Channel 8]
