Carrie Underwood Is Joined On Stage By Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose

Carrie Underwood’s Stagecoach performance over the weekend was what she called the “best night of my life” as she welcomed Guns N’ Roses’ notorious singer Axl Rose.

Carrie said, wearing a Guns N’ Roses T-shirt on stage, “Welcome to the greatest night of my life! Give it up for Axl Rose.” Underwood and Axl then sang “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” where she sang the first verse, he joined her to sing the second verse, and together they sang the chorus. After that, they did another GNR classic, “Paradise City.”

Carrie posted to Instagram with a bunch of photos of her and Axl performing together, “Best. Night. Of. My. Life!!! I am still freaking out!!! Randy Travis first recorded this song for his 1983 "Live at the Nashville Palace" under his stage name at the time, "Randy Ray." Travis re-recorded it for his Always & Forever album and released it as a single. It was a big hit. I remember where I was when I heard it and called my manager, Ann, and I was like, 'Do not let anyone else have this song! It’s my song.'”
