Lauren Alaina Announces New Album: ‘It’s About Being A Woman’
Lauren Alaina just cheekily announced her new album, via a social media post. Her message was accompanied by a photo of her in a corset. Her comment: “Of corset’s an album. Sitting Pretty On Top Of The World. 9.3.21. Pre-order at 11 pm central to get my favorite song I’ve ever written, It Was Me.”
She recently told us that she wrote and recorded the album during the pandemic. “Road Less Traveled is about becoming a woman and this album is about being a woman. This is kind of the next step in my life and how I’ve been navigating my life for the last few years and heartbreaks and loss and love and new things happening. It kind of covers everything I’ve been through.”
