Runaway June’s Naomi Cooke To Tie The Knot
Runaway June’s Naomi Cooke is getting married. She revealed the news on social media that she and her boyfriend Martin Johnson, the musician behind the John Mayer-endorsed pop-rockers the Night Game, are set to be wed.
Cooke revealed on Instagram along with a picture of she and her husband to be showing off the rock saying, “By the look of my nails, he surprised me.”
Several of her country music friends reacted to the post. Carly Pearce said, “OH MY GAHHHHH CONGRATS!” While band mate Natalie Stovall wrote, “I mean. THE BEST!!!! So so so so excited for y’all!!!
Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s.
