Luke Combs Admits He Wants ‘Beautiful Crazy’ At CMAs
Luke Combs is a multiple nominee at tomorrow night’s (11/13) CMA Awards in Nashville.
As Luke told us, he’s thrilled with all the CMA love, but wants one award in particular, “Obviously getting the Male Vocalist nod is a really huge deal for me, but I’m most excited about Song of the Year. I hate to say that, but I’ll be completely honest with you. Songwriting is something I take really seriously and something that I’m really proud of. And that song ‘Beautiful Crazy’ is really special for me and my fiancee. It’s the story of how we met and how we’re going to, you know, end up spending the rest of our lives together, which is really awesome.”
He adds, “I would love to have that moment, not only for myself, but for her and have that to share in forever. So I would love to be able to take that one home, but we’ll not be mad or sad or upset if I don’t win any of them. It’s just an honor to be there and get a chance to perform would be really great. But just being able to be there, I think is really the neat thing and it makes you feel like you’re part of country music.”
The 53rd Annual CMA Awards take place Wednesday night, airing live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
