Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Serenades Woman On Her 100th Birthday
Imagine being serenaded by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson? For one grandmom out of Philly, it happened. Dwyane Johnson tweeted a video of him singing “Happy Birthday” to a woman who was turning 100-years-old.
It started when Jamie Klinger reached out to The Rock’s publicist, saying that her best friend’s grandma was a long time fan and that she wanted him to sing Marie “Grandma” Grover a birthday message. She tweeted about what she was doing, and The Rock ended up seeing and responding to the tweet.
What?? First I’m hearing of this! Who’s turning 100? Beautiful age! What do you need, Jamie?

And he followed through on his word. He posted a video of him singing Grandma Grover “Happy Birthday.” He captioned it, “Love seeing this. Happy 100th Grandma Grover! I’m honored you’re a fan and grateful you were born! Much love.” He adds, “Wish my grandma was still around, but stuff like this is always the best part of fame.”
In the video, Grandma Grover is surprised and hysterically laughing in the video. At one point, she says, “Love you right back, you Rock, you.” It’s pretty adorable. Watch the video below.
