Pistol Annies Have Released Three Songs From ‘Interstate Gospel’
Yesterday, we reported that Pistol Annies had a big surprise for their fans on Thursday.
Well, it’s Thursday and SURPRISE (okay you might not be surprised since the cover art leaked early,) Pistol Annies has shared the cover art for ‘Interstate Gospel.’
But there’s more good news!
The band has also released three songs off the new album, and one of them seems to be about Blake Shelton.
Interstate Gospel. Out November 2nd. The best way to describe this record is that it sounds like 3 women came unleashed and told a bunch of truth. We didn’t hold back and we’re proud of it. #PistolAnniesAreBack

If “Got My Name Changed Back” is really about Blake Shelton (and we are pretty sure IT IS,) then there’s some serious shade thrown in this song.
See for yourself:
“Well I’ve got me an ex that I adored but he got along good with a couple road ****** …
I got my names changed back …
I don’t want to be a Mrs. on paper no more …
I got my name changed back.”
Ouch!
Well, you know what they say … the truth always comes out in the end, right?

The two other songs that were released are:
“Best Years Of My Life” and the title track “Interstate Gospel.”
