Weed-Killing Chemical Found in Some Children’s Breakfast Foods
Imagine your children eating one of their favorite breakfast choices and then finding out that they’ve been consuming a chemical used for killing weeds.
A new report reveals that has been the case for some families.
The study by the non-profit Environmental Working Group discovered trace amounts of the most widely used herbicide in the country in oats, granolas and snack bars.
How many items had the weed-killer? How about 31 out of 45 tested products. That many had levels higher than what some scientists consider safe for children.
