Stolen Netflix, HBO Passwords Are Being Sold On The Dark Web
Wish you could catch up on Game Of Thrones but don’t want to shell out the money for an HBO subscription?
Well we wouldn’t recommend it, but apparently passwords for HBO and other online subscriptions are being sold on the ‘dark web’.
According to a study by a web security firm, people are selling stolen passwords for services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and DirecTV, among others, often for as little as nine dollars.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that the password you get will be to an active account. And if not – good luck getting your money back.
