Here’s How Luke Bryan Managed To Get Out Of A Speeding Ticket
Picture this: You’re driving down a road in a rental car, without paying attention to the speedometer — when all of the sudden you notice flashing lights in your rear-view mirror.
We’ve all been there before, right? So has Luke Bryan.
Recently, Bryan was in Wyoming for a scheduled performance when he asked his tour bus driver to take him and his two sons on a fishing trip. The fishing excursion started out fairly routine until they were pulled over by a police officer.
According to Country Rebel, the car Bryan was riding in must have been traveling at speeds higher than 80mph — which sounds fast, but the speed limit in many areas of Wyoming is 80mph.
When the driver and Bryan saw the flashing lights quickly approaching, they wondered if their rental vehicle had the proper insurance needed. However, Bryan breathed a sigh of relief once the officer exited his vehicle and walked over to the passenger’s side of the rental car.
The officer asked Bryan a few standard questions, and then the country star told the officer he was in town because he was performing at a show. He also uttered three words that proved to get him out of the ticket, “I’m Luke Bryan.”
While these three words did get Bryan out of a speeding ticket, we wouldn’t recommend you use that line the next time you get pulled over!
