Makeup Lovers United On Sephora’s New Website!
If you are a makeup lover, you understand the excitement behind Sephora’s new website addition.
When you are picking out a new makeup product or trying to select one that’ll work best for your skin, you want someone’s advice. No, I’m not talking about advice from a person working at the store because lets be honest, they can be a little biased! We want advice from real people who actually used the product. Now, thanks to Sephora, you can talk to other makeup lovers on their website.
It’s like a big AIM chat for people who are obsessed with beauty!
If this sounds like a dream, then you need to make sure you are a part of the Sephora’s Beauty Insider Program. However, if you’re already reading this article, then we can only assume that you’re already a member. But if you aren’t, the program is free to sign up and will give you points based on your Sephora purchases.
Once you’re signed up, you can then subscribe to different beauty channels. Prefer learning more about hair than skincare? Well, there’s a channel for every beauty fan’s interests. Currently, you can be a part of groups that discuss skin, makeup, hair, and perfume – it’s basically all the beauty categories sold in Sephora stores.
Those people who are a part of the online beauty community are encouraged to discuss their routines, product favorites as well as makeup tricks. For those who have other social media accounts that are dedicated to beauty, you can link your accounts to your Sephora page. This is a perfect way to get more followers to those who have already dedicated their online identity to beauty.
Sephora’s senior vice president of digital told WWD, this website addition was to bring their customers together. She stated “We know our clients crave outlets and experiences that give her the deeper personal connections, and they want to be next to people they feel are like them and share their passion for beauty. We know they’re increasingly looking to their peers and people like them and this just plays into that.”
So, happy beauty chatting! Who knows, you may find a new favorite product or, better yet, a Sephora pen pal.
