Kip Moore stopped by studio QYK on Wednesday, 6/22 for an intimate performance and Q&A with some lucky fans! Kip started the performance with his hit song “Last Shot” and dove right into questions from the audience. When a fan asked his preference between the beach and the mountains he had to stop and think real hard about his answer. Kip explained that his time writing his fourth studio album in places like Maui, Costa Rica and Australia made his love for both grow stronger. He shared how he would go surfing when the sun comes up and then go mountain biking by late afternoon and found inspiration from both spots of paradise.
Don’t get too excited about possibly seeing Kip’s name on a future track with another country star. He gave his “salty answer” to a fan who asked him “If he could collab with anybody, who would it be?” He spoke about how he does have a collab project on the backburner but likely won’t release it because he doesn’t want to group himself in that category.
Although it’s been a few years since he’s been to Tampa, he couldn’t say enough good things about our city. At the end of the performance, he stated that he’s going to have to get together with his manager and label to ensure that Florida isn’t overlooked on his next tour.
