Dasha and fans headed inside the 99.5 QYK Performance Theater this morning for a one of a kind private acoustic show. Fans got more than they bargained for in the theater being up close and personal with just Dasha and her guitar.
Dasha kicked off the set by playing her song ‘Talk of This Town’ which takes listeners through the grapevine of small town gossip. She told fans all about her summer fling that brought this song to life.
She told us all about her songwriting journey from her early days as an 8 year old to where she is today. With the release of her album ‘What Happens Now?’ back in February 2024, her songs continue to climb the Billboard charts and take over social media.
Next, Dasha slowed things down to take fans through an emotional turn of heartbreak and empathy with ‘King of California’ and ‘Even Cowboys Cry’. She ended the set with her hit song ‘Austin’. The song has been viewed over 3 billion times on Tik Tok and peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April 2024.
