Here are some photos of Brett Young at our 99.5 QYK 2023 Guitar Pull! Our 8th Annual 99.5 QYK Guitar Pull made its return on Sunday, November 5th at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete. Country Music’s hot new artists Brett Young, Scotty McCreery, George Birge, Tigirlily Gold, and more hit the stage in front of a SOLD OUT crowd.
In past years of our QYK Guitar Pull, we have hosted Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen, and more! The annual event takes place in November and brings some of country music’s hottest and newest artists together on one stage to play acoustically together and swap stories on stage. It’s truly a show like no other.
Born and raised in California, Brett Young has been one of the biggest names in Country Music since the release of his self-titled debut album in 2017. Through the story of heartbreak and love, Young has been able to blend his West Coast roots with a southern sound to craft his “Caliville” style that continues to show on his fourth studio album released on August 4th. His unique style has landed him seven No.1 hits including: “In Case You Didn’t Know” (9x Platinum), “Mercy” (4x Platinum), “Sleep Without You” (2x Platinum), and more! Only one of four modern-day country artists to have their first sevens single hit No.1.
