Guy Fieri Launches Flavortown Festival with Big Musical Guests
Guy Fieri now has his own festival. Before you make any jokes, it sounds like it’s going to be a fun time.
Taking place June 1-2 in Fieri’s hometown of Columbus, Ohio, the musical lineup for Flavortown Fest features Greta Van Fleet, Kane Brown, Bret Michaels, Locash and Niko Moon. As expected, the festival will have a major food component. The festival’s website notes, “This is not your average festival. It will be packed with cook-offs, chef demos, shows, rides, games, and tons of ways to give back…plus a few curveballs mixed in.”
Passes for the Flavortown Fest are available now, with “early bird” passes as low as $155 + fees. Complete details are available at FlavortownFest.com.

Latest on Bret Michaels
Seeing Bret Michaels booked for the Flavortown Fest is really good news considering the singer closed out 2023 on a concerning note.
The Poison frontman shared back in October he had a second skin cancer scare. (The first came in January 2020.)
Michaels shared via Instagram, “Just knowing that I absolutely love the outdoors & the sun, but with the recent passing of my friend Jimmy Buffett, I decided it was time for a more recent check-up of something I thought was nothing. Turns out, it was something.”
Buffett died in September 2023 at age 76 after a private battle with skin cancer.
Michaels noted that he was able to undergo a procedure to remove the cancer literally the day of a show. He shared a photo of the scar he has from the procedure. Michaels said he’s “not completely out of the woods yet.” However, he also said the procedure likely saved his life, or, at the very least, extended it.
