Luke Combs Has Some Thoughts About The Route 91 Festival Returning
As you know, 58 people died and nearly 500 people were wounded at the Route 91 Harvest Festival last year.
While the event was not held in 2018, according to Pop Culture, the festival might return in the near future.
In an interview with Taste of Country, Luke Combs recently opening up about his thoughts about the possibility of the festival returning.
For those who don’t know, Combs was a performer at the festival.
At the time Stephen Paddock opened fire on the crowd, the country star was standing on the side of the stage watching Jason Aldean perform.
Within seconds, mass chaos erupted and fans and artists alike were running for their lives.
As you might imagine, people have mixed emotions about the festival returning, potentially in 2019.
Luke, however, fully supports the festival’s return.
As Combs tells it, the first time he performed in Vegas after the shooting helped him tremendously.
While he was undoubtedly reminded of the shooting when he returned, he realized that returning was part of the healing process.
In Luke’s mind, the return of the festival would be a great way to remember the victims, and to not let evil win.
