The groundwork is being laid for this summer’s television special surrounding the 2017 CMA Music Festival and things are going to be a little different from past years.

For starters, Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini will host to the three-hour special, which is set to air August 16th on ABC. The broadcast has been renamed, too. Known in past years as CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock, this year’s show will be called CMA Fest: The Music Event Of Summer. The show is filmed during the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, which takes place this week in Nashville (6/8-11). 2017 will be its 12th year on TV.

The television show largely revolves around the festival’s nightly stadium concerts, which this year features artists including Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Brett Eldredge, Brothers Osborne, Chris Young, Cole Swindell, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Dustin Lynch, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, John Anderson, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Kenny Rogers, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert, Old Dominion, Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, Trace Adkins and Tracy Lawrence.
