Town of Indian Shores Beautiful $864,000 Tocobaga Memorial. It’s a beautiful and interactive Bronze-and-Aluminum statue. Great spot to meet on the beach for kayak, paddle board, beach fun – it’s in public parking and beach access for everyone to enjoy ; ) The artwork features Florida Wildlife and a Tocobaga Indian family in memorial of the pre-EuroAmericans who lived in Tampa Bay. Florida’s Seminole Tribe can trace it’s ancestors to the Tocobaga and other early Florida Indians.

There are QR Codes on site featuring some pretty cool history. And, It’s beautiful. The town unveiled the artwork and interactive technology plaza on May 27th at Pinellas County’s Tiki Gardens on Gulf Blvd.
