The list for best and worst airports for customer satisfaction in North America is out and Tampa International Airport is #1. First, The survey is done by J.D. Power with airport satisfaction levels down 25 points from last year. The base the survey on a 1,000 point scale.
Also, 58% of people polled said that airport terminals as severely or moderately overcrowded. Others people say that the cost of food at the airport is too high. Secondly, 24% of travelers saying they didn’t make any food purchases because they were too expensive.
The airports are broken up into three categories: Mega, Large and Medium. The #1 Mega Airport is Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport with a score of 800 in customer satisfaction. Indianapolis International Airport is the top Medium Airport with a score of 842.
The worst airport in the Mega category is Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey with a satisfaction rating of just 719. Also, Philadelphia International Airport the worst for Large airports with a 729. Hollywood Burbank Airport in California is the worst for Medium airports with a 763.
