Ringling Bros And Barnum & Bailey Circus Coming Back Without Animals. Think, The “Greatest Show On Earth But No Lions Or Tigers, Or Bears, Oh My.” You can SEE some of those old acts and the “out of work forever” animal trainers below.

Feld Entertainment in Manatee County made the official announcement this week. The plan is to debut the New Circus in the Fall of 2023, without animal acts. They had a nice run of 146 years before shutting down in 2017. Ticket sales were down, and they were getting a ton of pushback from animal rights groups.

Feld has launched a Global “Greatest Show On Earth” Talent search and says they have over 1,000 applications already. Looks like they plan to use some high tech to make their new 360 degree performances more interactive. We’re told rehearsals should get underway in June 2023 . Then they launch a 50-city North American tour. Tickets should be going on sale next April.
