Relocating causes crazy housing prices In 5 Florida cities. Record numbers of Americans are considering relocating to a new city, according to a recent Redfin report. One-in-four people searching on the site are looking at a new city. The pandemic has brought about a rise in remote working, allowing knowledge workers to choose their location as long as they have an internet connection. Additionally, affordability is a significant factor, with Redfin searchers considering more affordable real estate markets and lower costs of living relative to where they currently live.

As Northern populations relocate, Floridians can expect higher real estate prices, an escalating cost of living, and more population density over the next 10+ years. Some Florida housing costs are up almost 30% over last year alone.  Relocating causes crazy housing prices both up and down. Conversely, those left in the North may see some decrease in prices once demand softens in their region. Newsbreak
