One of Country Music’s hottest new artist, Breland, performed in Studio QYK on September 13. You may recognize Breland from his multiple collaborations with big names in country. The new country artist Breland got his start by self-releasing his song “My Truck” after it took off as a social media challenge. You may have seen his performance of “My Truck” at the 2022 CMT Music Awards with collaborator Thomas Rhett. Amazon Music named Breland a Breakthrough Artist and already has 650 million streams. His debut album “Cross Country” was released on September 9, and we can’t stop listening!
Breland is already using his spotlight to help others. He headlined charitable “BRELAND & Friends” show at Ryman Auditorium raising over $140,000 for Oasis Center. Guests included Jimmie Allen, Dierks Bentley, Tyler Braden, Kane Brown, and so many more!
Breland’s music goal is to create a sound that “crosses country” with other genres of music, like gospel and hip-hop. Collaborations already include big names like Nelly, Keith Urban, Ingrid Andress, Sam Hunt, and MORE! He stopped by Studio QYK to perform some of his hits including: “Natural,” “For What It’s Worth,” “Praise The Lord” and more.
