J.R. And Launa’s Favorite Pictures Of Their Dogs

Today is National Puppy Day. We all have dogs on the show - and wanted to share some of our favorite pictures.

J.R.'s dog is Petey.   He is a boarder collie/lab mix dog who is 11 years old.  J.R. adopted him when he was a puppy and he is the best dog.  J.R. doesn't have to use a leash, he just stays by his side.  Petey has been to the radio station many times and has been our guest speaker for the day.  Petey also has his own instagram page.  @country_Pete.

Launa's dog is Louie.  She talks about him all the time.  Launa adopted Louie from Suncoast Animal League when he was just 5 months old.  Louie is the most important person in Launa's life.  Everything revolves around Louie.  Louie is 9 years old and is a black lab mix.  Louie's favorite things to do are play ball in the back yard with the Nerf ball-gun, go for boat rides and take naps.

We are huge supporters of animals on the show. We highlight a dog from the Pet Pal Animal Shelter each week in hopes it will find a home by featuring a dog each week on air and online.

J.R. takes his buddy out on the boat with him.  Petey loves to run on sandbars and swim.

As soon as Launa leaves for work, Louie jumps up and takes her spot on the bed

Petey just has that cute dog face.  So precious and he never does anything wrong.

Louie was so cute and so innocent back then...how things changed so quickly.

Does your dog do this to? It's so funny to watch our dogs sleep, especially those who sleep with their arms in weird positions

Louie is a lab, so he loves to jump on the boat with Launa and Paul and go for rides.
