Here are the best place to party for Spring Break in Tampa.  I just took last week off work and spend the week doing exactly what tourists do this time of year, partied for spring break.  I don't technically have "spring break" anymore, I've been out of school for many many years, but I still like to take time off this time of year.  The best weather in Tampa is happening right now.  Why shouldn't we enjoy it too?

I had friends in town so they wanted to do all the fun beach scenes.  We stayed out near Indian Shores beach all week and just hit all the hot spots.  Each day the beaches and bars were getting busier.  Since I have so many friends coming in town this month, I keep getting messages about where to party while they were in town.  Messages like:  "where should we go?"  "Where are the best places to party?"   "Where are the fun beach bars?"  So,  I figured that I would make a list of some of the places that I have personally seen that are a ton of fun to party during spring break.

Where To Go

You can find so many beach bars up and down Gulf Blvd.  From Clearwater to Pass-A-Gille Beach.  I've lived in this area for over 28 years and have visited many of the best beach bars.  The majority of them are located on Gulf Blvd in Pinellas County.

Tampa International airport reported that they are looking at a record number of people traveling into our town in the next two weeks.  This is due to the fact that Miami has "breaking up with Spring Break" due to the crowds and partiers.  So I guess they are all coming here.

If you're looking for music, drinks, sun and a place to let loose and meet people, this list is definitely for you.

Other places you can also check out include:  Ricky T's, Saltwater Hippie, Jimmy B's, and The Brass Monkey.  And after all those, don't forget to stop at the dirtiest of them all, Mahuffer's in Indian Shores.

Best Places To Party For Spring Break In Tampa

1. Caddy's Waterfront

Caddy's Waterfront has 5 different locations in the area. The biggest is the Treasure Island location where I hang out. You can drink right on the beach and there is music, great food and I love the staff here. You can get beach chairs for tips and they have valet parking which is highly recommended.  Caddy's.com

2. PCI - Postcard Inn

PCI is a happening place.  They have a great BBQ place in front of the hotel but in the back is a party.  Lots of spring breakers flock to this place.  It is packed all day and night.  Located at 6300 Gulf Blvd, right on St. Pete Beach.  Postcardinn.com

3. Bongo's Beach Bar

Bongo's Beach Bar is another super fun place to party during spring break.  Great music and it's packed full of spring breakers.  It's not just the daytime fun, the night life there is fun too.  Plenty of bars and bathrooms for you, although, you will probably have to wait in line.  Best to get dropped off because parking is very limited there.  Bongosbeachbar.com

4. Undertow Beach Bar

I love the Undertow Beach Bar.  Not many tourists know about this place, but it's a party.  Again, may want to get dropped off by ride share as there is limited parking.  Music, drinks and a fun group of people hang out at the Undertow.  Bring your stuff and stay for the day and party into the night!  Undertow Beach Bar

5. Shephard's Beach Resort

Located in Clearwater, this place Rocks.  They have done so much work to this place over the years.  Hotel rooms, tons of parking and a huge pool to party at.  They have concerts during spring break and it is the place to be.  Lots of people even pull their jet ski's and boats close to get into the action. Shephard's Beach Resort
