When you visit Walt Disney World you could look forward to the food they offer. There are some discontinued foods at Disney that maybe you forgot about. You also may be upset that Disney got rid of one of you favorite foods at the parks. Mental Floss came up with a list of some of the foods that you can’t find anymore at the parks.

So, what’s the first thing you think about when it comes to food at Disney? Maybe the top one is Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream bars. Those haven’t gone away and probably won’t. Popcorn is also another food that most likely will always be available at Disney parks.

Disney has all different types of restaurants for you to choose from. Think about Magic Kingdom’s food. Right when you walk in to the park, look to the right and you see “Tony’s Town Square Restaurant” that serves delicious Italian food. When you walk down Main Street you pass a candy store, a bakery and two more restaurants. The variety of food is awesome and you definitely have your options.

So, what are some of the discontinued foods at Disney? Below is a list of 5 of them and some you may remember and some you may have never heard of.

  • McDonald's French Fries

They are so delicious! They also had their own Fry Cart in Frontierland. At Hollywood Studios you could buy the fries at “Fairfax Fries”, but the fry stands are no longer. They actually have been gone from Disney parks since 2007. I sure do miss getting some McDonald’s fries while walking around the Magic Kingdom.

  • Animal Poop Candy

Yes, you read that right. Animal poop candy. Yuri’s Sweet Shoppe at Animal Kingdom sold these candies that resembled poop from animals. They started in 2015, but were soon discontinued after.

  • The Handwich

Usually you need two hands to hold and eat a sandwich. Well, in 1988 Disney came out with the The Handwich, which could be held in one hand. It came in a cone. It was only available at Epcot and was discontinued in the mid 1990’s.

  • BeaverTails

BeaverTails are pastries came in flavors like apples and cinnamon, maple and chocolate, and cinnamon and sugar. You could find them at Epcot Trapper Bob’s BeaverTails, which is a Canadian restaurant chain. It was only available for eight years.

  • French Toast Loaf

If you were walking down Main Street at the Magic Kingdom you could find this at Main Street Bakery. That was then converted into a Starbucks in 2013 and the French Toast Loaf is no more. It had thick slices of bread in a loaf pan, then drenched in egg, vanilla, cinnamon, and cream. You can easily make this at home.
