Here are a couple of hidden gems in the Tampa Bay area to explore. We are so lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. A place where many people spend a lot of money to vacation and it's all right in our backyard. There are the normal places to visit, like the malls, theme parks, and the well-known Clearwater beach, but J.R. and Launa each have a place to share with you that they like to go for some fun.
Carillon Parkway Area
Launa loves to take her dog for a walk to enjoy the cooler weather around the Carillon Parkway Area. There is a great walkway surrounded by tons of nature. A great place to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the day and clear your head.
Treasure Island
One of the best places in Tampa Bay is Treasure Island. Super walkable with shops and a really cool beach vibe. With all that walking you are gonna get hungry and some of J.R.'s favorite places to get some grub are Ricky T's Bar & Grille, VIP, and Sloppy Joe's on the Beach. Finish the day off with a walk on the beach!
It makes a great day trip to feel like you are on vacation and not super crowded with tourists.
