It's finally here! If you're a fan of Guthries or Zaxby's, you've got another great spot for chicken fingers and crinkle cut fries with Texas Toast now to choose from. Tampa Bay's first Raising Cane's location opens this week. We got to take a look inside and nibble on those fingers!
The Clearwater location opens January 31, 2023.

This is the first location in Florida outside of the Miami area.

Inside the new restaurant...

What'll ya have?

Tailgate menu?

No artificial stuff! Real sweet tea!

Coke products at the fountain...

Wait ... is that? Yes it is...

Disco balls!

Clearwater is the first Tampa area location. Cane's next will be in Largo, Carrollwood, and then Tampa.

The Box Combo

I didn't ask if there are different dipping sauces. But the Cane's sauce is solid.
$11.76 after tax... good deal!

The Cane's sauce is crucial.

Texas Toast and chicken fingers... such a perfect combo.

They customized a seat for Roxanne.

The Cane's sauce will taste familiar... sort of like Chick-fil-A's sauce.

Pull up to the drive thru... they use two lanes to keep you moving.

Drive on up!

Outdoor dining...

It was as good as it looks.

Bow wow wow.

An extra is .39 cents if you're a heavy dipper.

Lots of outdoor dining spots... take a seat at a table or at a long bar with open windows.

The Rowdies chicken was spared.

A salute to Champa Bay...

Some Clearwater inspired decor if you look close enough.

Might try the sandwich on the next visit.

Extra hungry?

What I went with... fills you up.

Smaller appetite?

For the little chickens...

Extras... I'd get some extra Texas Toast.

The view from Gulf to Bay.

This is Cane.

Finally!

The sweet tea hit the spot.

Merch.

The Cane's story...

It began as a college dream.
It's right next to the Sam's Club on Gulf to Bay.

Finishing touches being made.

If you love Guthries or Zaxby's, I think you'll be a Cane's fan. The combination of fried chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries and cole slaw is tough to beat. It'll be interesting to see what kind of dent this puts in Chick-fil-A's business. They are right across the street.
